Volunteer Training

Volunteers Needed!

Have you got some time to spare?

Are you interested in supporting Families in Haringey, Hackney and Waltham Forest (HSHHWF)?

If so, you could have exactly the skills needed to make a difference to a local family.

Home-Start trains volunteers to support families with school age children. By visiting a family in their own home and offering friendship, practical help and emotional support, our volunteers represent a lifeline for many families who are finding it hard to cope.

You will benefit from:

  • A Rewarding Experience in a Supportive Organization
  • 40 hours Structured Training
  • A Personal Development Portfolio
  • Regular Supervision
  • Experience and Skills for your CV

The next preliminary date for training is October 16th.

HSHH and WF runs a rolling Volunteer Training Programme, lasting 1 day a week, for 5 weeks

For more information on the next Training Course, contact us via email on info@hshhandwf.org
